Jack Rottenberg

Coach of the Newark Germans of New York’s German-American Soccer League from the 1930s to the 1960s.

Under Rottenberg’s leadership, the Newark Germans won the German-American League title three times and the New Jersey state championship six times. Rottenberg, who was born in Hungary in 1893, was active in soccer for more than 70 years.

Inducted in 1971.
