Harry Kraus

An official of the German-American Soccer League and other soccer organizations in New York.

Kraus, who was born in Austria and emigrated to the United States as a young man in 1930, was president of the German-American League from 1947 to 1952.

Prior to becoming president of the GASL, he had been secretary of the New York state association from 1932 to 1947 and a vice president of the United States Football Association from 1937 to 1946. Was secretary of the Southern New York state association from 1960 until his death in 1966.

Inducted in 1963.
