Ted Howard

A North American Soccer League executive for more than 10 years, concluding his time with the NASL as the league’s Executive Director.

Howard, who began working for the NASL in 1971, moved gradually upward through the league’s administrative structure. He served in a variety of positions, including Administrative Assistant, Director of Administration, Director of Operations and Executive Director.

After the end of the NASL in 1985, Howard worked for the National Basketball Association for a number of years, but in 1998 he returned to soccer administration as the Deputy General Secretary of CONCACAF. He served in that position until 2011, and was Acting General Secretary of CONCACAF in 2012.

Inducted in 2003.
