George Donnelly

A New York soccer official who served as president of several significant leagues and association between the 1960s and 1980s. Donnelly was president of the National Soccer League of New York from 1966 to 1971, president of the Eastern New York Soccer Association from 1972 to 1977, and president of the Cosmopolitan Soccer League (formerly the German-American Soccer League) from 1983 to 1985. In 1977, he founded the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association.

Beginning in 1978, Donnelly served a nine-year term as chairman of the USSF’s Appeals Committee, and he also was a member of the USSF delegation at the 1988 Olympic Games in South Korea.
