One of the founders of the Italian-American Soccer League of New York in 1937 and later a founder of the Brooklyn Italians team.
Piscopo, who was born in New York but grew up in Italy before moving back to the United States in 1928 at the age of 16, had played in Serie C in Italy. He then played for the Waverly and Giuliana clubs in New York after his return to America. He starred for Italian-American league selections in games against other leagues before retiring as a player. He was president of the Italian-American Soccer League of New York from 1954 to 1961
