A member of the West Penn Soccer Commission for a quarter-century, including more than 10 years as its chairman.
Dresmich, who was born in Lithuania and came to the United States as a child, was involved in a number of aspects of western Pennsylvania soccer, including managing the Curry Vets and Morgan teams, both of which he had played for in his earlier years. After his playing and managing days, he organized the
West Penn Referees Association and the Washington County League and was named to the West Penn Soccer Commission in 1940. He served as the commission’s chairman from 1955 until his death in 1966.
