President of the Keystone League of Western Pennsylvania for more than 10 years, and a player and coach at the venerable Beadling SC of Bridgeville, Pa.
Delach played for Beadling from 1935 to 1946, winning several championships during that time. The Beadling club, which was founded in 1898, is the oldest soccer club in the United States that is still in existence.
After retiring as a player, Delach became coach of the Beadling team, and his 1958 squad won both the Keystone League championship and the West Penn Cup, and reached the final of the National Amateur Cup before losing to Kutis of St. Louis.
Delach was president of the Keystone League from 1962 to 1973, and also served as a National Amateur Cup Commissioner for 10 years.
