Midfielder who was a member of the Kearny Scots teams that won five consecutive American Soccer League championships between 1937 and 1941.
After retiring as a player in 1954, Peters, who had been born in Pennsylvania as Walter Paricciuolo, was a coach and official of various teams, leagues and associations in New Jersey, including serving as a national cups commissioner and as vice president of the New Jersey Soccer Football Association. Although his greatest seasons were with the Kearny Scots, he ended his ASL career with same team with which he had begun that career 19 years before, the Paterson Dovers.
